Terms of Service - Camonsoft

1. Agreement to Terms

By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using FastNesting software ("the Software"), including the Free edition, the PRO trial, or a paid PRO license, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not purchase or use the Software.

FastNesting is a fully automated digital software product. No human-driven or manual services are included with the purchase. Camonsoft licenses the Software to you under these Terms.

2. Paddle — Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

When you purchase FastNesting Pro, you buy from Paddle under Paddle’s Checkout Buyer Terms. Camonsoft remains the licensor of the Software and these Terms govern your use of FastNesting. For payment, invoice, tax, or purchase-related questions, contact Paddle (for example via paddle.net or help@paddle.com) or Camonsoft at support@camonsoft.com, and we will help route the request.

3. License Grant

Camonsoft grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use FastNesting subject to these Terms and the capacity of your license type.

Commercial use: You may use the Software for your own commercial or workshop purposes on machines you control, up to the seat capacity granted by your license.
License capacity: FastNesting Pro allows activation on one active machine at a time (not for parallel use on multiple computers). Legacy purchases of FastNesting Pro Three seats retain their original capacity (up to three computers at once).
Restrictions: You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share your license key with others. You may not use the Software beyond the seat capacity of your license.

4. Trial and Free Edition

Eligible users may evaluate full PRO features for a 10 calendar day PRO trial. From version 1.2.0 onward, eligible Free users confirm trial eligibility by email when prompted. During the trial you use the same PRO tools described in our documentation.

When the trial ends, FastNesting switches to the Free edition unless you activate a PRO license. The Free edition has limitations, including (without limitation): up to 16 pieces per nesting; no edge banding (R/F); no PDF or Excel export; no machining drawings; no panel parameters per material; no Mult; and part labels limited to numbers only. The complete list of Free limitations is described in our documentation and may be updated as the product evolves.

5. Purchases and Delivery

FastNesting Pro is sold as a one-time digital license purchase (not a subscription), unless a different offer is clearly stated at checkout.
Prices are shown in USD excluding VAT where indicated; applicable tax is calculated at checkout based on your location.
Payment is processed securely by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record.
License keys are delivered by email after successful payment. Activation instructions are included with delivery and in our documentation.
The Software requires Rhinoceros 3D: Rhino 7 or 8 on Windows; Rhino 8 on macOS. Rhino is a separate product from McNeel; Camonsoft does not sell or warrant Rhino.

6. Refunds

You may request a full refund within 15 days of purchase for any reason. Email support@camonsoft.com within that period and include your order number. Refunds are processed by Paddle to the original payment method, and your license key will be deactivated.

Full details are in our Refund Policy. We strongly encourage you to use the PRO trial before purchasing so you can evaluate the Software thoroughly.

7. Updates and Support

Your PRO license includes:

Lifetime access to the major version of FastNesting you purchased, including free updates within that version line
Email support at support@camonsoft.com
Access to documentation and resources on our website

If a future major version is released, you may continue using the version you purchased, or purchase an upgrade license for the new major version when offered.

8. Activation and Internet

Internet access is required to activate or deactivate a PRO license. After activation, normal nesting work may continue offline, subject to any revalidation requirements described in the product.

You may deactivate a machine from the license dialog to free a seat and activate on another computer within your license capacity. When all seats are in use, FastNesting may offer to release a remote seat and activate the current computer in one flow. Each installation shows a readable computer alias to help with support.

9. Acceptable Use and Intellectual Property

You may not: reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Software except where applicable law expressly permits; crack, bypass, or disable licensing or trial controls; share license keys; or abuse the trial or Free edition to circumvent a paid license.

Camonsoft and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in the Software, including all intellectual property rights. These Terms grant a limited license to use the Software; they do not transfer ownership to you.

10. Product Disclaimers

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. CAMONSOFT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Nesting layouts, cut lists, labels, and machining drawings are visual and production-planning references for workshop use. They are not direct CNC machine programs. Always verify dimensions, machining, and output against your model and shop practice before cutting or production. Results depend on your geometry, settings, and Rhino environment. Camonsoft does not warrant compatibility with every future version of Rhinoceros.

11. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL CAMONSOFT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CAMONSOFT’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SOFTWARE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE LICENSE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, INCLUDING MANDATORY CONSUMER PROTECTIONS WHERE YOU LIVE.

12. Termination

Camonsoft reserves the right to terminate or deactivate your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination or refund, you must cease all use of the Software, and your license key may be deactivated. Sections that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) continue to apply.

13. Privacy

How we collect and use information related to licenses, support, and the website is described in our Privacy Policy. Payment data is handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Material changes may also be communicated by notice on our website or by email. Continued use of the Software after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the changes. For purchase-related terms controlled by Paddle, Paddle’s buyer terms apply as updated by Paddle.

15. Disputes and Contact

For payment, invoice, tax, or refund processing questions related to an order, contact Paddle (Merchant of Record) and/or Camonsoft as described in Section 2. For questions about the Software license or these Terms, contact Camonsoft first.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live and that cannot be waived by contract.
